Corporal Christopher Fabian has been awarded the Officer of the Quarter award for the July-September 2016 time period. During this time period, Cpl. Fabian had perfect work attendance, along with added uncompensated personal time used for event planning and preparations.
Cpl. Fabian proficiently has handled his many duties as the Traffic Officer; which include traffic accidents, parking complaints, and traffic studies. Cpl. Fabian has maintained a close working relationship with all of the local schools and bussing companies by assisting with traffic related issues. Cpl. Fabian has managed the scheduling and assignments of the crossing guards, when the new school year commenced in September.
Cpl. Fabian is also tasked with the detailed planning and oversight of the Fireworks Festival and all major and minor parades in the City of New Castle. In addition to the extensive Officer positioning and traffic control needs, this year’s event was extremely tension filled due to numerous rumors of possible acts of violence against the public and police. Thankfully, this event took place without incident. This successful Fireworks Festival event was of great credit to Cpl. Fabian and the entire NCPD staff.
Cpl. Fabian always displays a great deal of job knowledge and quality performance. Cpl. Fabian maintains a professional appearance and attitude. Cpl. Fabian has efficiently and effectively taken on the many assignments that have been asked of him.
Corporal Fabian brings great credit upon himself, his family and fellow officers. In this way, the performances of his duties are in keeping with the highest traditions of the New Castle City Police. It is with great pleasure that I award Corporal Christopher Fabian the “Officer of the Quarter Award” Award for the 3rd Quarter of 2016.
